Senior Trust Accountant H/F

On behalf of one of our client, we are currently looking for a Senior Trust Accountant.

Our client is a company specialized in trust and wealth structuring solutions for high-net-worth families and entrepreneurs. It provides tailored fiduciary services with a strong focus on expertise, ethics, and sustainability.

Your Role

• Manage client accounting and actively participate in client meetings
• Clearly explain complex accounting matters to clients and stakeholders
• Enhance accounting systems and internal financial controls
• Supervise and allocate tasks to Bookkeepers and Client Accountants
• Provide technical guidance and support to the Accounting team
• Prepare financial statements for audit or direct submission to clients and regulators
• Resolve accounting discrepancies with Trust Managers, clients, and advisors
• Prepare ad-hoc cash flow reports and financial projections
• Deliver periodic reporting for clients and intermediaries

Your Profile

• ACCA qualification or equivalent
• 4 to 5 years of experience in offshore trust & company accounting
• Experience with Swiss accounting (financial statements, VAT, payroll, tax) is a plus
• Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and foreign currency accounting
• Proficient in both manual and computerized accounting systems, with strong spreadsheet skills
• Understanding of Trust and Company Law and best practices
• Ability to prepare accounts for various structures (property, investment, etc.)
• Solid grasp of accounting standards and UK tax-related matters is a significant advantage
