Senior Accounts Payable Accountant H/F

On behalf of one of our clients, an international company based in Geneva, we are currently looking for a Senior Accounts Payable Accountant to join their team on a long term temporary assignment.

Your role

Reporting to the Finance team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end Accounts Payable process within a structured and fast-paced environment. This role requires someone who can quickly operate autonomously and handle high volumes efficiently.

Key responsibilities

-       Manage the full cycle of vendor invoices (processing, verification, and validation)

-       Review and validate payment proposals and vendor balances

-       Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies

-       Handle vendor queries and resolve payment or invoicing issues

-       Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners

-       Contribute to the continuous improvement of AP processes

Your profile

-       At least 5 years of experience in Finance, ideally in Accounts Payable

-       Strong accounting knowledge with high attention to detail

-       Ability to work independently in a dynamic, international environment

-       Proactive, reliable, and solution-oriented mindset

-       Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP or SAP S/4HANA

-       Knowledge of Ariba and/or Concur is a strong asset

-       Fluent in both English and French (written and spoken)
