Master Data Specialist H/F

Our client is a major international player in financial and services, operating across global markets. The business trades and distributes products worldwide at significant scale, with a substantial logistics.

The role : Master Data Specialist

Reporting into the Data team, the Master Data Specialist safeguards the consistency, quality and reliability of reference data across all systems and business processes. A cross-functional role sitting between data governance and hands-on development, built around three areas.

Migrations and dataset harmonisation

• Map data across applications and handle application-specific edge cases
• Clean, validate and prepare datasets ahead of Master Data onboarding
• Track data lineage and protect existing functionality through non-regression checks
• Automate onboarding and migration testing

Reference data quality and monitoring

• Own the datasets hosted in Master Data and handle day-to-day support tickets
• Define validation rules and data quality controls
• Deploy monitoring tools, exception reports and corrective actions
• Spot recurring issues and drive lasting improvements

First point of contact for users and application owners

• Support users, application owners and project teams on reference data matters
• Triage and resolve requests, coordinate fixes end to end
• Support Master Data rollouts across new and existing solutions

What we're looking for

• 2+ years with C# and the .NET ecosystem, ideally ASP.NET Core
• Solid data management background, rigour and strong attention to detail
• Ability to grasp dependencies across systems and datasets
• Comfortable auditing SQL, .NET, React and Python code
• Able to build Python scripts for non-regression and monitoring
