We are looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to play a crucial role in managing the overall operations of the store, overseeing the staff, merchandise, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Working closely with the Store Manager, you will act as their representative in their absence, ensuring the store maintains high standards and achieves sales targets.

This is an opportunity to lead a motivated team, develop associates, and contribute to the success of our renowned luxury brand.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Customer Management:

  • Devise and implement strategic plans to drive sales across various product categories.
  • Ensure business goals and strategic projects are successfully accomplished.
  • Develop initiatives to expand and enhance the store's customer database.

People :

  • Assist in managing and guiding store staff in collaboration with the management and Human Resources Department.
  • Foster motivation, team cohesion, and engagement among the staff.
  • Support the training of Sales Advisors on new collections and sales techniques.
  • Encourage Sales Advisors to promote seasonal products effectively.

Customer Service:

  • Uphold the highest level of customer service within the store.
  • Facilitate regular communication between staff and clients using client books.
  • Manage the client database to increase sales and customer engagement.
  • Efficiently resolve customer issues and complaints.

Store Management:

  • Support the Store Manager in HR administration, including planning and managing absences.
  • Address customer disputes and escalate significant issues to the Store Manager.
  • Oversee back-office activities such as data entry, product delivery, and daily store closures.

Store Image Management:

  • Ensure compliance with visual guidelines and procedures, collaborating closely with the Visual Display Team.
  • Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and efficiency, aligning with the brand's image and promotion strategy.
  • Ensure optimal presentation of products according to high standards.

Store Operation Management:

  • Monitor daily sales reporting.
  • Ensure product quality control, including managing defective items and repairs.
  • Verify bank deposits reconciliation, including bank transfers, cash, credit cards, and duty-free transactions.

Human Resources:

  • Support the Store Manager in recruiting, training, and developing staff.
  • Implement and follow up on training programs and seminars.
  • Continuously evaluate the performance of associates and provide constructive feedback.
  • Address HR issues promptly and effectively, collaborating with HR when necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to payroll procedures if delegated by the Store Manager.
  • Maintain professionalism and uphold grooming standards consistent with the brand image.

Communication & Reporting:

  • Assist the Store Manager in regular reporting to management on turnover, HR matters, accounting, client issues, and events.
  • Foster positive communication with corporate office, mall office, and other stores.

Skills and Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience in a retail company, preferably in a luxury or service-oriented environment.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in luxury fashion retail management and sales.
  • Proven track record of driving results and developing teams.
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Exceptional customer relationship management and networking skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the fashion luxury market and current trends.
  • Impeccable personal appearance with a sense of individual style.
  • Excellent proficiency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP systems.

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to hold team members accountable and drive results through availability, removing barriers, facilitating change, and providing coaching/feedback.
  • Strong organizational skills with a service-oriented approach.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to meet business needs and deliver a polished and professional service.
