Our customer, a non-governmental organization based in Geneva, is looking for a Real Estate Project Manager.

Responsibilities :

Lead the process for clearance of office wings and relocation of archives, with removal of staff teams, sister organisations and sub-tenants to the new temporary site
Design and implement facility management interface requirements for interim years, given services provided by the building owner at the temporary site
Lead the sustainability strategy for construction and facility management, including reporting on specific measures and targets
Participate in real estate project design, permit process and sales initiatives for plots for sale
Take a leading role in preparatory work for the renovation and for the new building, including delivery of a permit for the latter, financial budgets and steering committee approvals for both projects.
Manage and control project costs and deadlines
Work with the steering committee in the development of strategy, in reporting on progress, monitoring risks and preparation of decision-making
Develop processes for the organization’s own oversight and reporting on construction and renovation work, drawing on reporting available from the construction company and with a real estate economist as necessary, including financial monitoring
Prepare reporting to the steering committee
Maintain project documentation

Requirements :

Degree in engineering, architecture or related field
At least 10 years of experience in real estate project management in Switzerland
Experience in facility management with project management required
Knowledge of Swiss laws and regulations in real estate matters
Technical competence with architectural plans and construction budgets
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Perfectly bilingual in French and English
